OPEN CITIZENSHIP – Journal on Citizenship Issues in Europe
Volume 3, Issue 1: Summer 2012

We invite young academics and researchers to submit their contributions for the
up-coming issue of Open Citizenship. Open Citizenship is a hybrid journal
combining engaging articles from academics, journalists, civil society and
politics to explore the scope and complexity of identity and citizenship within
the European Union.

The upcoming issue focuses on the state of identity and citizenship building in
the European Union and investigates, among other topics, the impact of the
current economic crisis on the creation of a closer union of citizens.
