Martin Wilhelm sets up the organisation’s strategic plans and coordinates international partnerships, fundraising activities and project development. This doesn’t leave much time left for other activities, but for some leisure and sport. Prior to CFE, Martin worked in different public and civil society organisations across Europe. He grew up in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
 
Christian Mieß, Project Manager

Christian Mieß is on a quest to identify the European public sphere. His interests center around the diverse connections between people, media and politics. Christian is also responsible for PR, and online stuff. He holds a master’s degree in political science from Greifswald University. Christian grew up near Hamburg, Germany.
 
Arianna De Mario, Project Manager

Arianna De Mario has worked as a project manager at CFE since April 2010. She is mainly responsible for the conception and organisation of events and conferences, as well as for networking activities. She holds a joint master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Bath (UK) and the Humboldt University of Berlin. Arianna was born and grew up in Milan, Italy.
 
Laura Kolland, Project Manager – Jede Stimme 2011

Laura Kolland is in charge of the symbolic elections within the campaign Jede Stimme 2011. She is an expert in issues of migration and anti-discrimination. Laura Kolland holds a master’s degree from Greifswald University.
 
Lisa Pettibone, Editorial Team – Open Citizenship

Lisa Pettibone has worked on the editorial team of Open Citizenship since July 2010. She is working on her PhD at the Freie Universität Berlin’s Environmental Policy Research Centre (FFU), where she is writing on U.S. and German cities’ incorporation of sustainability principles into planning. Lisa comes from Springfield, Virginia, USA.
 
Louisa Prause, Project Assistant – Jede Stimme 2011

Louisa Prause supports the team in the organisation and planning of events. Outside of CFE, Louisa is studying political science at the Freie Universität Berlin and is currently working on her diploma thesis about social movements in western Africa. She grew up in Flensburg, Germany.
 
Laure Saint-Yves, Layout & Design

Laure Saint-Yves has designed graphics, logos and print materials for Citizens For Europe and its projects and campaigns since April 2010. In addition, she works with Pictoplasma on conferences and beautifying the world through exciting character design. Laure grew up in Paris, France.
 
Matthew Shearman, Editorial Team - Open Citizenship

Mathew Shearman has worked on the editorial team of Open Citizenship since October 2011. He recently completed the MSc in International Relations at the London School of Economics, where he focussed on the role identity plays in modern German foreign policy. He describes Europe as a ‘a state of mind’. Mathew is originally from Yorkshire, UK.
